今天为大家介绍两个关于“心里不平衡”的惯用语表达：

1. sour[ˈsaʊə(r)] grapes

1）含义：表面意思是“酸葡萄”，实际上指的就是咱们常说的“吃不着葡萄就说葡萄酸”：Criticism[ˈkrɪtɪsɪzəm] or disparagement [dɪˈspærɪdʒmənt] of that which one cannot have. 因得不到而加以贬低，批评。

2）来源：这个短语来源于《伊索寓言》（Aesop's fables）狐狸吃不到栅[zhà]栏里的葡萄所以就认为葡萄很酸。

3）例句：

He said he didn’t want the job anyway, but that’s just sour grapes.

他说他不想干这份工作，只不过是吃不着葡萄说葡萄酸而已。

注意：sour grapes 虽然是复数形式，与之搭配的动词则是单数形式。

2. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

1）含义：这句话的英文解释是：Other people's circumstances or belongings always seem more desirable than one's own. 即：总是觉得别人过得比自己好。

2）例句：

咱们来看一组对话：

A: "It just seems like they have this perfect life, always traveling and spending time together."

B: "Hey, the grass is always greener. I'm sure they have their own problems that no one else can see."

A：好像他们的生活很完美，一起旅游，共度时光、

B：人们总是觉得别人过得比自己好，我敢肯定他们也有自己的问题，只不过别人不知道罢了。
